We are worried today!  Benny was too worried to type so they let me use the computer for once!

I was at home all day yesterday with the bunnies and both were fine, but for some reason my 'bunny-sense' was tingling and I kept a closer eye on Button, even though she seemed fine! I popped out for an hour or so and came home at 7pm. Both bunnies still seemed fine except Button's head was very slightly tilted.  Being a panicker about nothing in the past I kept a close eye on her for an hour to be sure, as a few times when I have thought 'oh no, head tilt!' it has turned out that they were just looking at me inquisitively!!! Quite tricky following her as I don't fit in their tunnel or under their bunny bed!!! By the time Tony came home we decided there was definitely a tilt there so we rang and took her to the emergency vet.

Benny came along for the ride, and typical man, made more fuss than Button who was the poorly one!!! Bless him!

The vet checked Button and said she had a very high temperature, and that there was a defnite if not very slight tilt on her head. She had some antibiotic injections and we have to keep her on meds and keep an eye on her for a couple of days.

All very worrying! We are lucky we noticed as to someone who doesn't know her you would probably not notice it! After being a bit quiet this morning and not having her brekky straight away, she has now had her medicine and has been pigging out and running around like a loony as usual, which is good! Her head is still the same, a little tilted, but we are just hoping that it will clear up in a couple of days and that it is just a virus and nothing worse....

Benny was very sweet to her and didn't touch his food until she started eating, which for him must have been near impossible! I did see him sneak a small bit of food when she wasn't looking! Since she started eating this morning he has also been stuffing his face between binkies! Surely that is a good sign!??!

They are both resting and watching TV with me now, so fingers crossed she gets better soon..... big hugs Butt Butt!

PS And hugs to Ben Ben too who looked very shocked last night when the vet decided to take his temperature too as a precaution!!!
